Prior 4000 forklift value?

This is a screenshot from an auction my cousin was bidding on. The price shown is not the ending bid, just where it was before I started milking.
It's a 41201 with a Sherman reverser. Serial number puts it as a mid 1963 model. I didn't notice it when my cousin first sent me the link, but it also has an Elenco fwa (or rear wheel, in this case).
According to the seller, it runs great and everything works. The main tires are quite worn, though.
Any thoughts on its value?

There were a few different companies that made those forklift conversions. The value is whatever your cousin thinks that it's worth to him.

Information on the auction site was sparse. Don't know who built the forklift. For him, it's more of a collector piece...and it was the Elenco that got him excited about it.

Hey FordFarmer , That is a Sherman/Napco axle not an Elenco . Still pretty cool and more rare than an Elenco actually lot less of the Sherman’s made .

If he's buying it as a collector piece and it has value for him, then again, it's worth what he thinks it's worth to him. If he buys it and puts money into fixing it up or to restore it (many folks have different definitions of restore), he should expect to enjoy it while he owns it, but he shouldn't expect to regain everything that he put into it if he should decide to sell it.

Old muscle cars are one of the few things in recent years where folks could make money buying a junker and restoring it to resell. But after a few years of ridiculously high prices on the restored ones at auction, the price of the junkers went through the roof, so even that became not as lucrative as it once was.
