at Dallas it is priced at 40 to 50 a bale, last winter we sold less than 50 bales, most people around here have sold most of their cattle the ones who haven't rase their own hay and have plenty left over from last year several of my customers aren't even going to bale anything this year, puts us in a tight spot

Hoping to get 35 out of this year's that hasn't been put up yet

Gave away half of last years an got 20/bale out of the other 50 just a few weeks ago.

Last year's selling at 25-30. Central Wisconsin

In my part of Ky I sell 4x5 grass bales for $35 per roll picked up, wrapped hay goes for $40-50 per roll
I use most of my hay and only sell some overage to a few neighbors, usually no more than 50-100 rolls

My hay tends to be ripe or coarse hay from the wet ground and brings 20-30 more or less all the time.

Looks like $30-50 covers most hay so far at the auction, but with the cool spring and pop up showers very few have mad a good cutting to sell yet. I’m expecting a flood of better stuff this week as there was finally a window last weekend to make some ok hay.

Typically ‘here’ in southern MN if it’s difficult to make hay it means it’s wet and so there will be lots of hay, prospects for a good second cutting are high, and pastures are tall and green, so hay demand is fairly low with only the best of the best hay bringing $60 as Flying mentioned. Folks know there will be plenty around.
