I have reasonable suspicion here. so I noticed when scraping the dash above the factory gray paint layer was a mintish light green, upon looking into the color said green is apparently typical of some of the historical Alberta maintenance teams (I cant say if this is true I wasn't alive in 1940) this possibly means this tractor was used for commercial maintenance rather than farming, which explains the lack of wear on the 3pt hitch pins. before we go and say oh its just a primer, its been painted over numerous times which indicates it was put on a loooong time ago, plus why would they put primer over a coat of factory gray paint. could it be possible this old run down neglected mess was a maintenance tractor that now in modern day still having the green on could be a rarity? (I did scrape most of the green off because I'm a goof ball and wanted to polish the turd that is my cracked dash). I'd have to get a picture off my phone.
