Is there an oring under the seat? Oil goes into the rear end. If so how do you access it?

There is. You have to remove the seat and then the 3 pt hitch assy. Sounds like a lot of work but it's not bad. Check the operation of the PTO clutch while you're in there, it's your only chance.

If your Jet3 is like mine and has a 3 point lift, there is a vertical pipe on the left side that has a cap on it. Hydraulic oil goes in there. If I recall, the cap has a dipstick on it. On the older Jetstars You either have a pipe elbow turned up on the front with a plug in it, or you take the 6 bolts out of the plate on top and pour your fluid in there. Dont let the fluid level get up to the rock shaft or the oil will probably come out the ends of the shaft. I use Dextron III in mine but other people who share equipement with other brand tractors use whatever the other brand takes.
