Help identifying a carburetor and is it worth rebuilding?

I’ve had this carb for many years put away in a box. Don’t know exactly what it is and if it’s worth rebuilding. The only thing I know for sure it’s cast iron! Thanks! Paul

Is there a small brass plate on the opposite end of the choke shaft on the body? It should have letters, numbers(TSX 33 or other. Google Marvel-Schebler model numbers. Several sites will pop up with info and available kits. Kits vary from needle, seat and main gasket to all available components. You Tube has several lengthy videos about detailed overhaul of these. It is best to rebuild original carbs, starters,or generators if quality parts are available. Your carb looks to be in good shape. The carb on my ‘51 8N was very rusty inside. It would have been nice to have had it soda or vapor blasted. I had to boil it out again last week because of think rust flakes in the high speed jet.

After number 313112
After researching and help from other members it appears to be a TISCO reman of the original TSX 241b. In due time I’ll rebuild it and maybe put it on my tractor. However, the replacement carb I purchased new from this site runs fine.

Hi Paul,
Ive had two of those cast iron clones over the years.
Gotta have one longer bowl to top half screw. Not 4 equal lenght like a MS.
Each had a . 076" economizer jet, and surged, hesitated.
One had a sleeve over the choke to hold it off the dash 3/4" or so. So it ran ok with choke pulled a bit. Prolly like that for years!
Ran excellent with 9n9914 at .046, no choke.
Been just using them for parts, as my preference was to sell a 8n with a Marvel Schebler on it.
Here are the two plastic venturis that the clones came with. One on the right is flimsy, bendable, poor... Brass one in the middle is MS.

If you put the brass one in your clone, like the pic below, it may barley seal with the .033 thick gasket.
Par of feeler gauges with .016 and .017 on each
