Massey 44 hydraulic cylinder question

I have a 49 MH 44. It had a live hydraulic pump added to run a leaky old New Idea loader. I took the loader off. From the pump I have a high pressure hose and a return hose going back to the reservoir.
I split the tractor last summer, and put a 44 Special trans and rear end with a 3 point. But the hydraulic system made a pop sound and sprayed hydraulic fluid all over from the control parts.
So I ordered a MH 44 hydraulic cylinder with the control lever on it off ebay. All I want this 3 point to do is up and down.
The new cylinder assembly has an inlet and outlet port. I'm assuming that's high pressure hose in and return hose out back to the reservoir right?
But there are 2 more ports on this assembly. In the picture I've attached, it is the two facing the camera. Are those auxiliary ports for remote hydraulics? And can I just plug those ports? Or are they some kind of breather ports that need to be vented?

If in fact you have a 44sp rear section, you should have a special manifold on top where hydraulic lines plug in. I have 2 of these tractors and the part you are showing isn't on either of them. With that said, I am in need of the controls for a 44sp or maybe I'll have to go the route you did.

Yup I have the 44sp manifold, control lever and ram. The picture I posted is a plain 44 hydraulic ram that I'm going to use. If you are ever near ND, I'd give you the special parts I'm not going to use.

John, don't chuck out that cylinder. Apparently they are hard to locate anymore. I just discovered that my IT manual shows the controls assembled incorectly! Took me 6 months to learn that. I think it works fine now, I'll know more in a few hours tho. Where in ND are you located? By the way, there's a few things you should know about that manifold it you want to hook up a loader or whatever inclusive of the 3pt.
