Massey Super 90 steering coupler question

I'm wondering if this is how the steering coupler is supposed to look, or if it is out of adjustment(and if it is even adjustable), and do you adjust it by loosening the locknut on the power steering- side coupler(keyed shaft) and slide it forward? Reason I'm asking is because I replaced the flexible coupler last year(previous owner had installed a homemade one that rubbed a hole in the top of the radiator), and just had to replace it again, as it tore out at one of the bolt holes. thank you for any help!

The seal on the gearbox? looks shot. You might want to make sure it has lube and isn't full of water.
Thank you! I think its ok so far. That shaft goes directly into the top of the power steering unit, and I'm pretty sure it's lubricated by the same fluid as the rest of the unit.
