International 584 wheel hub sleeve…

Replacing the wheel bearings on my international 584, I know the back of the hub has a sleeve, I got one out but it looks like there might be another piece in it, should that lip be there or should I try to get it out? You can zoom in on the picture and see a ring around the edge.

I have a 584 but never had to deal with that. I have a IH R&R book if you need info let me know and look that up and send to you.

This is the new vs the one I pulled out, it seems thinner, but maybe it wore that much. The lip on the hub is what’s making me wonder…

If you got the wear ring out , that’s all there is to it. Put new race in and install wear ring, the lip sets against back of hub, pretty straight forward

Almost looks like someone machined an oversized sleeve to fit from a past time it had been wallerd out
