2N Hydraulics stuck in up position

Glad the hydros are good!
Lots of folks have left those bendix parts where they fell, and have not had a problem. However, if they get under the flywheel ring gear teeth, it can crack or bust the housing.
A tip was posted the other day to stick a strong magnet on the flywheel, then slowly turn the flywheel ( spark plugs out) hoping to attract the busted parts, then reach through the starter hole to fetch em out. Seemed like a great idea, but haven't tried it😀

Thanks ya'll. We'll try fishing with a magnet a while. (forever the optimist) The old gal's pretty tired. If I can get the SIL interested, it might be time to break her open and look for some compression while we're looking for the parts. We'll let ya'll know either way.
