Out in the clover field.

Couldn't cut the red clover when it needed it as rain was continually predicted but never came. Just a little stemy, but later, the cows ate a small failed bale like candy. It was thick so had daughter run a tedder on it to help dry. The weather was perfect, in the low 70's with a nice breeze, so didn't need the umbrella. This kind of "work" for me is actually fun.

Is that a 700? We had one. Tough old tractor.

Darn near impossible to dry red clover for hay around here.

Yes you do need the umbrella; otherwise you wind up with huge scars where malignant melanoma was removed. My latest is the size of a silver dollar on my right temple where the Dr. performed Mohs surgery. I lost count of the surgeries somewhere around 30 for various types of skin cancer.

I seeded clover with my alfalfa in the oats last year. I didn't get it cut until last Thursday. I raked it this morning and it was still green and wet underneath. By 2 O'clock it was finally drying out. I finished baling at 7. Best new seeding I've had in years. I was surprised it was still standing as good as it was.

Around here in the northeast raked clover will never dry unless the ground is dry. We will give it an extra pass with the tedder. The third time running at low RPMs in a higher gear to just "stir" it.
It's really difficult here too, as we have high humidity and weather guesstimaters who constantly cover themselves with chances of rain. It hadn't rained for a couple weeks so the ground was as dry as could be and a "cold" front had went through, so we had a cool dry breeze with sunshine.

I've had several surgeries and lots of freezing sprays. Too bad that the damage is done when you are young (and stupid). Same for the eyeballs....had both cataracts recently replaced.......sunglasses??????? What that??????

I started having to have growths frozen off my ears when men's hair fashions changed and I got it cut above my ears. I was healther when I was a long haired, tie dyed, maggot infested hippy.

I have to go at least once a year to have spots frozen with liquid nitrogen. Had 3 surgically removed, fortunately not cancerous. My BIL fought them for years with multiple surgeries and freezing's. Finally passed to other cancers after fighting for 8 years. Sure do miss him. 👨‍🌾
