So that's why there are threads in them! I have one similar to the one on the right, with no threads that is used to remove small engine flywheels. I also have purchased two or three in the past with threads in them. I wondered what they were for.

I still have and use most of those tools.I never did get any metric ignition wrenches though.Tach and dwell meters, and the flex driver to adjust the dwell with.Lots of timing lights, seems like I just can't watch them being thrown away.Have a box with nothing but ignition fixing stuff.Still have an Allen-Tune scope in the garage out back.Little clips to slide on Ford ignition terninals to hook the dwell meter to.Atlas charging system meter with a big ring of adapters to plug into the regulator plug to test generator/alternator output.I still have,(and use),the tools from the Ford tractor dealer to bend and set the point arms on the N series, and also the V8 flathead engines.Jigs for setting up the rockshafts on the N series tractors.Little hand crank armature commutator cutter with adapters.I have dozens upon dozens of specialty tools, most all came from being saved from the trash.

BSW wrenches and Whitworth tap & die set for me. Can't remember wbe the last time I used my Snap-On dwell meter was either. And although I still use them, tools that have seen a massive reduction in use for me are my stick and TIG welders. I have cause to weld something at least once or twice a week. But ever since I invested in a really good/large MIG setup and a spool gun for aluminium, I went from using the stick or TIG welders about once every week or two to maybe half a dozen times a year (at most).
