MM Jet Star 3 Super? Serial number seems off.

I have a jet star 3 number 28301924 but it has super hood and decals all over it. The old decals that are correct for a super have been covered up on the side panels by the old style decals. It is a LP with fat tires on the back, a loader, and the stripe is right with super above. Its painted full yellow with rattle can but the brown is showing through. Has a loader and the current front end is out of a MH 44. Not well done on the front end. Were some of the last built Jet 3s in 65 a super?

There has been discussions about late 65s being supers. A cousin died and he had several unique tractors. He didnt change it over and bought it from a county with the loader. He died and I bought it at his sale 2 years ago. Im trying to figure out what's right.

Super had alternator and brake on pto, different throttle Probably front end was trashed by loader and tin was changed.

Your serial number is an early 1966 model. 30th built of the Supers. Pretty rare tractor in LP. It was a deluxe model so should have had the deluxe rear fenders. From the looks of it, it's had a few parts swapped over the years with a regular JS3. What is the engine serial number?

Engine SN is 1630 996. It does have an alternator. The previous owner was a brick layer so it was well used but runs.

Do you mean 16309996? If so, it's the original engine for your tractor serial number. According to the parts book, it should have an alternator and not a generator.

Your right with the extra nine. The belly has been painted yellow and they covered the SN plate but another number that looks like a nine does exist. It has an alternator. The 445 sitting next to it has a generator. BMG you have me set on what it is supposed to be and I thank you a bunch.
