Unicorn D15 Industrial Diesel Questions

Not a tractor expert, but I am hoping someone can shed some light on my old backhoe. From what I can tell I have an Allis-Chalmers D15 with a factory front loader and a Mark IV backhoe (and the original manuals). I use this thing around the property and everything works but nothing is perfect. While getting lost looking for parts (water pump) online it seems like this is a very rare tractor.

My questions are:
1. Is this actually a rare tractor?
2. If so does this have value beyond just an "old backhoe"?
3. If not is there somewhere to reliably get parts?

Thanks,

Sam

p.s. I tried posting this on the Allis-Chalmers forum but it won't send me the activation email and when I try to email the listed email I get a bounce back. Just figured people on here might be part of that forum and have some insight to my issue.

A D-15 diesel isn't a unicorn or what I would consider "rare". There are a lot more gas models than diesels for sure, but the word rare doesn't describe the diesel model. Anything tractor parts would come from any AGCO dealer. Anything related to the loader/backhoe might come from a Fiat-Allis dealership...maybe ??

I'll try the Fiat-Allis dealer. AGCO dealer had basically had nothing. They did show a part number for a few things but were predictably discontinued. According to "AI" only 957 diesel D15 were made, but I have no idea if that is actually true. Regardless of how confident chat GPT give its response, I tend to distrust if it is truly accurate.

Well, your AGCO dealer may not have had what you wanted, but if AGCO still makes the D-15 parts, they should be able to get them. The Fiat-Allis thing may have been swallowed up by New-Holland construction. They wouldn't have any reason to have D-15 chassis or engine parts. But anything loader/backhoe maybe.

It's gotten more difficult to find a dealer who knows or cares about getting AC parts. Where are you located? I'm in central NY and the closest dealer I hear about is Sandy Lake in PA.
I've got to get into the belly hyd pump on my D15II as suddenly it won't hold up a cutter bar anymore!
