Norman from iSaveTractors

Norman glad to have you here I have rebuilt a few k532 engines with your parts over the last 4 years. Now I am working on a M16 Kohler and I am wanting to know if the third balancer gear is to be positioned identically with the others or 180* opposite. The manual says position it parallel to the other two gears?

Yes essentially the way the balance gears work is their heavy side will be opposite the heavy side of the crankshaft when at the 3 and 9 o'clock positions. Send me an email: [email protected] and I will send you a document that shows the install.
