Milwaukee cordless grease gun.

If its anything like mine was, the first 50 or so fittings it won’t come off, then it won’t stay on anymore. Swapped it out to a Lincoln brand tip that has lasted longer, but is getting weak again.

Well fawteen, is this loose enough? The nozzle still won't come off.

You can't see the picture very well but the hose is completely off and the nozzle still won't budge.

Ok fawteen, I looked it over more closely now and I see the nozzle is two pieces. I loosened the two halfs and now it works ok. Those two halfs are loose, like not even finger tight. Can I use it that way?
I did take it completely apart and their is a small spring in there. I never knew that or maybe I forgot.

I cannot believe a grease gun could cost that much, cross that off of my wants list! I have plenty of hand pump guns and do have a problem once in a while where it won't come off of the fitting. I leave the 2 pieces loose and that usually does the trick. I have one of those lock on tips but it doesn't fit many places I want to grease so it stays on one gun and the others have regular ends.

As long as it's not squirting grease out the joint in the nozzle, you should be good. If you find a zerk or two that it's too loose on, you can always snug it back up.
