This exhaust system was on the tractor. I just bought. I had to take it off because it interfered with the loader. It was a conversion from vertical to horizontal. Wow.

He can say that, having been born into a farming family... then being a farmer himself, in adulthood.

I thought there are child labor laws.
A couple of years ago I got an Oliver 550 where the previous owner converted the exhaust from a vertical exit to an underneath exit. The idea was okay, but the reality needs some work. I plan to take it off and make an exact copy of the shape and replace it for fewer leaks and better aesthetics.

Certainly innovative, would like to see factory original design to compare or your finished work.

I have to say I did get a good chuckle while viewing it! That is a vented tuned exhaust setup for sure.

I didn’t think it was that bad. The tractor sat outside for at least 10 to 15 years. Its got a nice home inside now, and the exhaust will be stainless

No, it ran pretty good with the old system. It is a little quieter. Amazingly it had no major leaks. I couldn’t leave it like that. Someone would think I had done it.
