In the last year or so that I.ve been gone.... Now retired.I still take care of the home place.I help a few neighbors onece in a while, spend a lot of time holding the recliner down in the shop( don't want it to blow away). Sold my 1256;1456 .and 826 Hydro tractors. Also the bigger equipment. Thinking of selling 4 more of the older ones too.Go to breakfast with some buddies 2-3 times a week. And I've seeing a woman. She is widowed too. Raised 5 kids,a Christian. Don't know where it will end up...For now we are just enjoying each others's company.Things are good in my world. Side note: The Colorado fires are raging. Hundreds of thousands of acres have burned. Our valley has been filled with smoke for a good part of the last month. At times the visibility has bee. down to less than a mile. You can cut it with a knife.Air quality is horrible.I can feel the smoke in my lungs.Even this morning, the air is hazy, yet the high up skys are clear and cloudless. This is one of the clearer days....They are expecting some fires to burn till snow falls. It is sooo dry. We had almost no mountain snow, our irrigation stacks are running out. Our area/irrigation company is at 50%. We can get by. Others have no water. Pray for much needed rain, and lots of snow in the mountains.Steve

Our oldest and wife decided to come east and stay here for a while to get out of smoky GJ area. Bought their computers and are working from our house.

What area of Colorado do you live? Have a son that lives south of Denver near Littleton.
I am at Delta Colorado. On the western slope, 60 miles from the Colo/Utah border. 40 miles south of Grand Junction on US Hywy 50.The biggest(in our area) is the Gold Mountain fire down by Ouray and Ridgeway.

Glad all is going well for you in your life.

Hope they can get the fires out. Praying for rain for your area already (I know some people in GJ).

Good to hear from you Steve! I think of you from time to time. The young lady sounds like a good one.
