While it might not be funny it is not tragic because one could classify it as self deserving.
He obviously wasn’t a safe distance because in that area of the country the bison makes the rules.He wasn't though.

Look back a couple pages. A buffalo throws the old man in the air. Then you might understand this one. Car had nothing to do with the joke.Yeah right, your car would NOT survive a run-in with a bison. The bison might die of plastic poison.
