I have a couple of 35's along with numbers shorter and a couple of 6 footers. Also have 100' tapes for building jobs but they aren't pocket items. Most of my "pocket" tapes get clipped on my pocket or belt.

I’ve still got a couple of Stanley Fat Max 35’s I used to measure roofs back when I was insurance adjusting. Occasionally even that wasn’t enough. A common trick was to attach a rubber ball to the end of a 100’ tape to give it enough weight to drop to the roof edge and to lay out straight for the measurement.
I had a 25' Stanley Fat Max for years but let it get wet to many times and all the sudden the number decals came loose for about 8 feet. Went to "Home Depot Lumber" to get a new one and found a package of two for about $25.00. I didn't really want two so thought I would find package of one for around $15.00 but when i got to tool section the choice was package of one for $25..00??? The only difference I could see was one was made in USA and Two were made in?????? so I opted for expensive one hoping quality was better. First thing that happened I lost the new tape measure either in small building area or somewhere out in the grass so regreted not going for "two for the price of one". Turns out my Polaris 4- wheeler has a way of swallowing anything I lay on seat at the back groove so I found My USA Quality Fat Max!!!!.

As more weight usually follows size, it would be dangerous to clip that big of tape on my belt. When one is shaped like a penguin, pants tend to slip down, and with that much weight, it could be instantaneous.

I have some Komelon tapes, but in 25 foot size. I've had a white and black one for years and recently TSC had a 2 pack of the yellow and black ones for $15. They've been good to me. I also have a chrome Stanley along with a yellow one and a green one. None really seem any better or worse than the others.

Have a couple of Stanley’s and then I have an u known number of harbor freight tape measures. They use to have coupons for buy something get a tape measure free. Also would have a 1/2 off coupon any one item. Have no idea how many of the 99 cent box cutters I bought and got a 25 ft tape measure. There is always a tape measure near where I am working on something.
