A few Ford 2N/8N/9N/Jubilee Wagner front end loaders for sale in CO

I'm scouring around for a JD model 30 loader for my 1948 M, and finding lots of loaders for other tractors instead. Figured I'd help somebody else out with what I'm finding:

The blue and red one seems to match the Wagner W3 on the MI below. The red one seems to match the Wagner loader on the yellow 420U and @Rockbasss's 1958 JD 420U (https://www.yesterdaystractors.com/cgi-bin/viewit.cgi?bd=jd&th=163226), and the white one appears to match the WM3 on the Ford Jubilee below.


Anyone have one of these loaders? It sounds like they have their own hydraulic pump that runs off the front of the tractor.

They did have their own pumps, that was the common source with the loader frame being the hydraulic reservoir for that pump. The pump is clearly visible on the tractor in your fourth picture.

Took this similar one off this old beat up Fergie and put it in the scrap pile which is where they all belong IMO.

I salvaged the front mount pump, cylinders and valve for future use or sale.

Can I ask what makes you say that? I see more of them than any other brand of loader pre circa 1960.

I'd much prefer to get a JD No. 30, but I've seen exactly one so far, it was a 30 hour drive into Canada, and was in rough shape. It might be easier to build one off the No. 30 design with modern hydraulics, square tube, and angle iron than source an original No. 30, get it running, fabricate brackets, and get it mounted.

Because you have to climb awkwardly over the back of a tractor that was not designed to be mounted, or used for that matter, in that manner.

Granted, in their time they were very likely a huge improvement over a shovel, etc., but their time soon ran out.

Grew up with one. Even had a hay loader with push off. Ran it from 5th grade thru highschool. Dad stacked and I drove the 9N 5 bales at a time in road gear bringing bales to the stack in Kansas.
They worked! Climb up over the left side!
