New Holland S-12 parts?

Hello. I just joined this forum specifically for help to find parts for the Vickers T66Z hydro on a Sperry New Holland S-12 tractor. Is there anybody that has a parts machine on the East Coast or any salvage yards that may have an S-12 sitting around looking for a home. Again, I need hydro parts, specifically the charge pump kit (214400) and a seal kit (214402). Thanks in advance for any help!

Had to look that up. Early 1970s garden tractor. That will be a neat restore.

Wonder if those parts were used in other models or years, it looks like the S-12 was only around a couple years. Be worth looking for cross models before, after, during that used the same parts?

Hi There! Welcome to the forum! Your New Holland S12 was made by Ariens, and that tractor is popular in the Northeast. You should be able to find parts machines. You can also check with an Ariens dealer to see if anything might still be available.

Good luck in your search! Part of the fun! Treasure hunting time!

Which Ariens model is comparable to the S-12?

Not quite
Actually Sperry new Holland originally designed that series of tractors and ariens "bought the line" around 1973-74. I believe they were sold under both brands for a couple of years after ariens bought the line from Sperry.
The earliest ariens had the vichers hydro as well before they went to the sunstrand. I have (1) 1972 s14 new Holland before they went to ariens that has the vickers. I do have a spare vickers hydro. It has an issue with the tow deactivation where it won't stay in tow mode, the handle won't stay in push/tow mode but worked just fine when pulled besides. I looked into what that would take to fix several years ago and it wasn't a huge deal to fix. But (1) I found a replacement hydro for a reasonable price and swapped that in and it was only after I did so (2) I realized how rarely did I use the freewheel /tow deal anyway... Not very often at all.
Id consider selling my s14. And or the original (now my spare) vickers hydro. Located near Chicago
