Here is the 2nd part of the 1980 White Farm Equipment Brochure
In the Late 70's and 80's Farmers and Farming Companys were having a Hard Time. White was on the way out. They had sold some of their equipment lines off and were down to Tractors, Tillage equipment, Planters, Combines, Lawn & Garden Equipment (Before MTD Took over) and a few other items
So here are a few of the Farming Equipment Items they still sold

I enjoyed your post with these equipment brochures. I used to collect them myself when I was younger.
We had an Oliver and AC dealership locally, and they sold a few of the whites to the farmers who had been using Oliver‘s.
I never knew White made a combine or a windrower.

My neighbor who worked for White always said if products such as the 9700 combine and 5100 planter had been on the market a few years earlier it would have helped White quite a bit. It was early 1980 when the grain embargo hit and blindsided a number of farm equipment companies.

Could have ran a 2-85 one day for a round cultivating soybeans. Always wished I had. Stopped and ask directions from a guy. We were in Tennessee and he was cultivating in probably a 100 acre field. Tractor was almost new. Got to talking about and asked me if I wanted to try a round. Thinking he had a 8 row cultivator on it. Was afraid I would mess up and turned him down.

When the 9700 first came out it was the largest combine on the market for a time. One of these days I’ll have a 9700 or 9720. Would look good sitting next to my 4-270.

I just got done harvesting oats with a White 8650 pto combine. Bought it 7 years ago...been a good machine for me.

How did the oats do?, we were down to Brookings last week and the oats in your area looked good, if i remember right you are between Watertown and Brookings? Have you had the 1270 very long, I don't think i have seen you put up pictures of that one? Both machines look good, neighbor still has a couple pto white combines like yours, but they havent been used in years. Neat picture.

Oats had enough straw for 100 bushel crop. The heat during heading caused them not to fill. Very light test weight...cranked up the air and blew the light ones out. Made 50 bpa. Have had the 1270 about 3 years
