Power steering Farmall super C

I’ve been operating SC’s since I was 4 years old and now I’m 71. A 1953 SC was my dad’s first “brand new” tractor. I currently own 3 SC’s and a 230. Steering has never been an issue until I mounted a loader on one of my SC’s. When I had the narrow front it wasn’t a problem, but with the HD wide front I just mounted a couple weeks ago it would sure make it nicer with PS. I was just wondering if anyone has ever added PS to a C series. I’m muscled up for 71, but why not make it easier.
Photo of my dad’s grandkids around the family SC at his funeral in 2014. Every family reunion, that SC was the center piece of the family photo. That SC is still earning its keep on the farm it was delivered to when new. My brother still farms the home place. So I don’t need to be told how to operate a C series tractor. Respectfully.

Respectfully, I have passed my experience on to the younger guys that do not have the background that you have. If you do not need what I have to say, ignore it. Somebody will get some good out of it. Sure you can rig a PS unit on any motorized vehicle . . . but you might want to beef up the gearing downstream of the steering motor. They were not designed for that type pressure. The SC wide fronts were very hard to drive and it was an issue when working point rows and short fields.

Has anyone ever put power steering on a C series (C-230)?

Ok. So you have the experience. (I have a H with a loader that is still ArmStrong steering). My question is has anyone swapped a narrow to a wide on a C and experienced harder steering using a loader?
Could it be something in the mechanics? Just asking.

If you been reading the post, the reason I want PS is because I swap a narrow front with a wide front on my SC with a loader on it. So to answer your question, of course it’s harder to steer.

I looked into that combo, just not enough room. Decided to mount a Saginaw unit like Dono-MN did. Found a Charlyn torque motor from my wife's uncle who has a salvage yard in CO. When I get it done I'll post some photos.

Dumb question: why not go back to the narrow front end? Stability will be the same ( determined by rear wheel stance ) and manual steering will be easier.

Has anyone ever put power steering on a C series?

Has anyone ever put power steering on a C series (C-230)?

I saw a Farmall C/ Super C at the Red Power Round Up in Huron on June that had a power steering set up on it.
