Any one ever hear of SELF mfg. Twin Falls Idaho ? I bought a rear mounted manure loader today . Tag is still on it but cant find info. I cant do pics. Thanks Jim

I saved one of these from a scrapper but I did t get the assist cylinders. It’s a finger getter on the ground. I like seeing all the rear loaders on the world

I have one that I 'restored'. It uses a scissor type of lift. Only raises about 5-6 feet.Just high enough to load a small spreader.I cant imagine it lifting more than a couple hundred pounds. Has a hitch so you can spread with the same tractor that loads. Just lift the loader,then hook up the spreader.

In the early 70s I went to Roosevelt , Utah, to do a warranty repair on a Ford 5000. The boss had me stop by a small dairy farm, enroute, to check in with the owner of another new 5000, he had sold to him. The farmer had a Fordson major with a rear loader on it. I don't remember the manufacturer, but it was the only one I had ever seen.
