Longest pocket tape measure I have ever seen

Yea
I heard of valve float but never seen it till now.
kinda puzzled though, with the camshaft lobe beating on that valve at three thousand plus times per minute wouldn't the valve float in the open position?
Yeah I've always known valve float as the inability of the valve to fully close at high rpm due to weak valve springs. Valve bounce is when they close but due to coil spring oscillation they will "bounce" back open. That video looks more like hydraulic lifters that collapse at high rpm so they won't push on the pushrod to actuate the rocker arms.

Tractor tool box tape measure 25 footer broke . Looked up on yours tube how to fix it. Still 25 footer 🤔 huh after the fix .
Safety first , the spring will hurt your so keep a couple pair of vise grips handy to avoid the problem of blood 🩸 flow. And leather or heavy duty gloves is a must , razor edges .
Broke in two places. That one inside the coil was a tussle.
Works also with modifications to spring saved .
Took about hour and a half of fiddling. 150 dollars of labor to save a six dollar tractor tool box tape measure ,well worth the effort.
Keep the dogs and cats away while doing it. They are no help.

Only for 24 hrs after the post is made.
You can still bring the post up in edit mode. Or is the edit function time limited also?? Highlight it and click delete on your keyboard. Then enter a period (.) as the message. The original post is now gone.

The Edit button controls the edit function/mode for a post that has been posted for viewing on a forum. The edit button you see at the lower left of the text box after you make a post, is supposed to disappear after 24 hours, limiting the time window for editing a post.

I don't understand what you mean by bringing a post, that has been made, up in edit mode beyond using the edit button, to open it for editing.
