I have a AC 175 diesel and am changing all of the fluids. I know there are 2 seperate drain plugs, but do they share the same reservoir, or are there 2 fill locations. I only see the fill location left of the gear shift. If so, how many gallons to fill both? Thanks

You need an owners manual. There are THREE drain plugs. One directly down from the seat is the transmission/differential and takes about 6 gallons. There is one drain directly under the clutch pedal and another on the right side on the large sump. These are for the hydraulic system and takes right at 5 gallons. There is a plastic gasket on each drain plug. Don't lose it and replace if badly damaged. FILL to the left of the gearshift for hydraulics and to the right of the gearshift for trans/differential. Both take the same oil. Modern day trans/hydraulic fluid 821XL from AGCO. or others.

There is 1 cap on top of the trans that looks like a breather, that it your transmission. There is another cap that just looks like a plug, that is your hydraulics. They both take the same oil but it is separate compartments.
