lift arm question(s) '63 4000 4cyl

Hey guys, I have a situation where I have a rotary cutter that rubs the tire when lifted all the way up. To remedy it I got a pair of Pat's quick hitches. The first one went on fine. The second one was a bear to get on and it wouldn't sit straight. I realized my lift arm is bent a little at the end so guess I will get a new one. Google says 32.5" is standard. Mine seem to be 32" center to center. Is a 1/2" gonna be close enough to make things work still. Also, they say they're right side and left side. I don't see any difference in them. What am I missing there? Thanks in advance,

There are no right are left. I always put the implement side down and point inside. That will put the tractor side point up and away.

Would it be worth trying to heat it up and bend it? I don't have a torch so would have to find someone to do it for me.
