Bush Hog 2426QT on a Ford 3930 not lifting up

My Bush Hog 2426 QT stopped lifting up on my 1993 Ford 3930. I put over 5 gallons of
M2C134D hydraulic fluid in the tractor, but no change. I can’t see where any fluid is leaking on any of the cylinders or hoses. Also, I’ve read that there is a dipstick, but the only one that I can find is the one beside the gear shifts for the transmission, but nothing in the back.

the rear end is the hydraulic reservoir; there is no dipstick for level check. there is a pipe plug located behind the right-hand brake pedal lock handle that is the level check. It is full when oil runs out of this plug. there should be a filter under the left-hand side footrest, if it's the same as a 3910, that may need to be changed.

Hello Carsie, welcome to YT! I think 49deere has your answer that the entire transmission and rear end housing is the hydraulic fluid reservoir. Unfortunately, with 5 gallons in it I would think that would be enough to get it operating again, but I am not certain. No, I didn't say the transmission and rear end housing were the hydraulic reservoir. The rear end and transmission are two separate compartments. I said the rear end was the hydraulic reservoir.

Okay, thanks for the clarification. I gave her(?) (F vs: M an assumption) access to an online operator’s manual in a PM. I quickly attempted to look through it to find where it showed how to check hydraulic fluid level but was unsuccessful, I’m sure it is in there somewhere and is probably as you have described. Any idea how close her 5 gallons would come to filling it? I just went back to look through it again. Can’t seem to find the capacity in this manual either. They do have 4 pages on tire size, air pressure and load carrying ability though.

Do you have to place a remote hydraulic lever on, before the controls work??? as on my 4610??? Did a hose partially pop out of the connector at the rear? Did the asv valve accidentally get pulled out?
