That looks like the one I took a picture of and posted last week. Mine was growing in the flowers.

Eating mushrooms is chancy if you don't know which ones will make you sick/die.

We've got mushrooms popping up all over the place on our property too. It's crazy. One day there's nothing and the next day it's mushroom city out there. I've had some pretty big ones but nothing quite that big! I looked into foraging mushrooms a few years ago but with most of the ones around here being poisonous, I quickly decided it wasn't worth even entertaining. The interesting thing is, most of the mushrooms pop up in our chicken area. Maybe the extra nitrogen from all the chicken poop encourages mushroom growth?

Seems to be plenty of them growing here too - small ones though. We have a patch in the vicinity of where a sunburst locust tree used to be.
