1964 4020 row crop with new 11L-15 fronts on new wheels. Old, worn, cracked, and ugly 13.6x38 on rear with W12 rims.
My local tire shop can install 2 new 15.6x38 for $1800 out the door. But I'd prefer probably the stance of 16.9x38. And of course, new rims as well.
This will be a low use machine. Push some snow, grade a road, drag some things. Lift some things. Not much work. Central Colorado.
What are appropriate options? Will I find ~75% tires on 38-inch double-bevel rims ready to go close enough to me (e.g. western KS or NE) to be worth it? Seems like 2X rims and 2X tires new are going to be a fair bit of money.
Thoughts from the crowd?
