This one is very Large Brochure with 98 pages.
Today I have the tractors. Part 2 on Wednesday I will have some of the Equipment

What year did the '00' series combines come out? Those are 95 or 105s on page 3. I always thought they changed about the same time as the 20 series tractors.
Just looked it up. They came out in 1970. So my father-in-law's 55 may not have been as antique as I thought.

It is the Burlington #309 Locomotive. I think that that picture was use a Lot for John Deere

I have the record.
Back then when the new models were introduced the local John Deere dealer threw a beer and bar-b-que for the local farmers in my community.
They had several door prizes. this record was one of them. I won it.

I don't think that I have ever heard of a beer and BBQ dealer promotion around here. The usual event was a pancake breakfast and if the customers were lucky there would be sausage, eggs, and orange juice included. When the bad times hit during the 1980's those promotions came to an end.

Our local John Deere dealer had "John Deere Night" early each spring back in the 1960s. There was a promotional movie followed by a feast.
