I wonder about the tank capacity. The tank is long but smaller diameter than what is common here. Our department's primary tanker is 3000 gal. on three axles, and this one looks like it would be only slightly more.
 
Take off the fifth wheel, stretch the frame a bit and put a box on for a back-country camper conversion. Fun afternoon project.
