Set the glass bowl on the base without the gasket and see how much it will rock back and forth. That will tell you if or how much it is warped. They can be pounded back flat but you need to know how to support it properly and where to strike it to get the proper result, sometimes this also breaks them.At one point in time it was over tightened and warped
John Deere part # C1778R. Measure about 2 to 2 1l8" OD. They are easier to get to seal than some.Gaskets are not all created equal. I have good luck using John Deere H gaskets as they are thick and made of cork. Not 100% sure they fit IH 560. Yours is probably warped a bit as has been said.
What IF ya don't have a lathe , ya ever give that a thought ???? . I won't tell ya how ya do it in the field when your back is against the wall and the tractor has to go NOW .Put it in a four jaw Chuck on your lathe and turn the gasket surface true again . Never leak again .
Probably has something to do with what I said in reply 8.I won't tell ya how ya do it in the field when your back is against the wall and the tractor has to go NOW .
