Cat Tail removal

What will kill cat tails and keep them from coming back? I got some that are spreading.

Get them all spay or neutered. They will eventually die off.

I used an aquatic labelled herbicide called Tsunami. Smoked mine in 1 application. No regrowth for 2 years now.

Mother Nature is taking care of them this year with the drought. Their all dying with no water in the ditches

The place where these are is pretty well dried up but they are still green. I don't know which is worse cat tails or Alders.

I was going to tell the story about Ubcle Claud cutting cat's tails with a cutting box, but.....

I guess for that matter, it might work in this case too.

Never thought about that. I just like to as a Kidd to mow them with the New Idea sickle bar mower . Was fun watching them fall like big timber . Broke up the hours boredom of mowing .
