I didn't think 69 was right but according to everything I've found it is.

They did. After the Cub engine was available for power unit use, they used it rather than continue to use the Continental. The Cub engine is 60 cubic inches.

I think a lot more power is used pulling the baler or combine, than we realize sometimes. We had a 50t baler with the Continental engine, and I don't remember bogging it down much. I know it could pump out 200 bales an hour sometimes, which is not a lot compared to modern balers, but it impressed us at the time. Mark.
