Post driver hook up on IH 584…

How can I connect my post driver to my IH 584 and use the lever on my post driver? I’m able to use it now by keeping the lever on my post driver pulled back and using the lever on my tractor, but then I have to have someone on the tractor while I hold the post…

Mine has a lock tab, but when I pull the lever on my tractor and not on the post driver it puts a lot of strain on my hydraulic pump.

I get it, the valve assembley on the post driver doesn't flow through.
Might be as simple as changing the valve assembley on the post driver or replumb it so it flows through.
I had to changet the valve assembley on my wood splitter for the same reason.

Sounds like the tractor has an open center hydraulics system and the valve is for closed center. Like somebody said, change to the correct valve on the driver.

What about when you switch your remote lever to the opposite direction? Mark.
