Anyone know where I can get a hydraulic front mount pump for an I 40 Backhoe? I haven't been able to find anything so far.

Single pump with two chambers. The main drive shaft broke at the end of the keyway.

It's a Webster brand. Probably very similar what an early 190/190XT used with those oil ports in the end plate. They used a splined shaft instead of a woodruff key tho.

I'm not holding the broken shaft in my greasy hands, but how much of a stub is left ?? A really good and talented machinist could maybe deep chamfer the stub and weld on a chamfered shaft extension and grind the weld down to size couldn't he/she ??? It would require a pump teardown and then a seal kit to do that. I'd probably not even cut a keyway again in the repaired area. Shove on the chain coupling sprocket and weld it on the end of the shaft. Maybe drill a hole thru the hub and plug weld it to the shaft in one place too ?? And maybe, just maybe, a splined pump shaft from a 190 might be long enough to be shortened or find a hub with splines to attach to it. Yours does have a chain coupling drive, correct ??

Yes. It has a chain coupler, (gear) shown on the right end. It is 5-1/2" long and has 10 splines on it. I don't need to get this gear off as the new chain coupler comes with them.
