Ford 503 Side Delivery Rake Belt Guard

Looking for the belt guard that attaches w one bolt at rake end of PTO drive shaft. See arrow in pic.

If you have a sheet metal brake, you could make one out of 16 ga.

It is very likely there are many of the survivors running without guards. It was not uncommon for such guards on implements to get removed when there was a problem and thrown aside. Building one is likely your quickest way to have a guard.

Thank you for your comment. I don't have a sheet metal brake. With the multiple angles in the guard and not having dimensions other than eyeballing and trial and error, I thought would see what's out there first.

Thank you, yes, may have to but building one with basic sheet metal bending equipment because bit challenging to make it look right and fit right.

Well, thank you very much! I have both an Owner's Manual and Parts Manual for a 503, so have a fairly good pic of the guard but the dimensions are of course not provided. I'll attach a pic to this thread of the guard as it appears in my parts book and if you want to go to the trouble, you could print the pic I send, add the dimensions, take a pic and attach it back in this thread.

Mock it up in cardboard. Cheap and easy to modify. Take mock up to sheet metal shop to get it bent up. Heating and air-conditioning shops used to have sheet metal brakes to form ducts. They might gladly do the bending for some cash.
