UTF can be 30and 80 but not all UTF is 30 and 80. Read the supporting documation carefully.
Find me one that isnt. I have read hundreds of product data sheets. KV100 for UTTF varies by product but is typically somewhere in the range 9.0 to 10.5 cSt with the vast majority clocking in around 9.5 to 9.6 cSt

SAE VISCOSITY GRADE SPECIFICATIONS

SAE 30 - 9.3 to <12.5 cSt @ 100C (J300)
SAE 80 - 7.0 to <11.0 cSt @ 100C (J306)

All UTF is "multigrade" although I have never seen an actual CCS or rotary viscometer test result for one..The xxW nummbers are basically made up.

All multigrade means in this sense is these products have a viscosity index starting around 135 and specialty low viscosity formukations like John Deere Hygard lo-vis and Kubita SUDT2 have VI's around 200

That has nothing to do with with the SAE 30/SAE 80 specifications.Dan

Good to know, I remember back in the olden days when some UTF was SAE30 or close to it. You had to purchase the higher priced good stuff to get SAE15 or thereabouts.
You are confused by how the grading system works and what the grade numbers mean. They are names not units of measurement.

Look up SAE J300 and SAE J306 for how the grades are defined and measured.
