Farmall 560 fender spacer/washer frozen (best way to remove)

Wanted to get opinions and thoughts on best way to remove rusted/frozen spacer/washer from Farmall 560 fender U-bolt.

I have been spraying the washer for 5 days with PB Blaster (tapping the washer, nut, and U-bolt with hammer) and also tried heating it with a propane torch and then more PB Blaster. Each Side has one washer stuck.

a. more PB Blaster and time
b. more torching
c. cut it off (best way without destroying threads ???)

Put a oak block on top and really get on it with bfh.

It looks to me like it is crooked. pry up.

Need to heat spacer to cherry red to expand off the threads. Put nut back on and tap loose.

Almost looked like you could try CRC cool off .

Update - got them loose, ended up using MAPP vs propane and within a few minutes got pretty much the whole spacer "cherry red" and they came off. Each side had one that was stuck and I believe it is due to the fact the spacer ends up being tightened past the threads and is a tight fit on the U-bolt. Thinking about putting a flat washer on first then spacer when I put them back on.

So now my next question anyone ever repair/replace the brace on the inside of a fender or should I just look for a new one (the other fender is fine). Guess prob. best to do a new post.

Glad you got your parts disassembled. Stubborn attachments will generally yield to getting 'cherry red' with a torch and a rapid quenching/cooling. You can often turn them loose with your fingertips. Good luck with your reassembly.

Glass bead blast, wire brush , rustmort, kidde pool( outside ) with washing soda electrolysis,
Powder coating , rusted out has to cut out and weld patched .
After it’s done do not let anyone sit on them on tractor rides , they won’t hold them.
