Exhaust manifold bolts on 8 n

Can anybody tell me why my 8N Ford needs 3 1/2 inch exhaust manifold bolts? Do I have the wrong manifold? It came off the tractor? I’ve looked high and low and I cannot find 3 1/2 inch 7/16 manifold bolts.(
(I think I know now why they used ready Rod)
