John DFeere H three way valve AB1545R

I have a AB1545R 3 way valve. It needs to be loosened up and a new seal installed.

Do you know where to get the seal and can you turn the valve or is it frozen solid?

I heated it with a propane torch and it's loose, the cork seal or packing is available from your John Deere dealer for 8.08 or Steiner and pay shipping.

RW--Thanks for the update. I will wait and not try to hook up any other way and hope that you have the correct valve!! I am a ways off from hooking up the carb and valve so this is not causing me any delays. I am just now finishing the brakes on both sides and that is a real chore as this is the first time I have tried to do it. I also have a lot of painting ahead of me.
I hope the doctor visits are paying off. I just had Mohs surgery on my nose near my eye and that is a real pain---it is great getting old!!!

Hey Otis, Sorry I took so long to get back with U. Finally got the 530 running yesterday. Now I can gert to the shelves over the work bench where I think that valve is. Wesley finally got over here after two weeks and was able to help. What state r u n? Get back to U shortly, Lord willing.

Rusty Wheel---Great to hear from you. I live in Payson, Arizona as we sold our ranch recently and have finally retired. The H is keeping me busy!!
