Anyone have a "1170" Black Knight /Cast Duals

I drove one to our demo days when I was a young punk, man I'm telling you that tractor was a impressive site!

Have a 1170 with cast duals since 1979 but not a black Knight. Been a excellent tractor for me. had it painted like a 1175 when I bought it...1970 model.

I always thought the 1170 fully complimented Black Knight looked spooky, and letting her idle and hearing the turbo. I told my friends whose Dad's farmed you do not want to get into the same field as it eats up brand x.! Lol

Those 1170's 75's are tough tractors. Dad bought a new one in May of 73. Put a lot of trouble free hours on that tractor. Little bro has it now. RB

I agree Dan they are Impressive,, but when we got the first 1370 in and ran in fall 1971, POWER was at a Whole New level, the 1170/1175,, was second string here then still we sold 2 to 4 a year still, 1370's we got in two to four at a time they were a Great seller here for us

Yea Tom, we sold the hell out of 1370's and just a few 1570s. As you know they are still fun to operate, and gutsy for sure.
