I think you might be disappointed in the snow, we have one very similar, and it's not that good. It has about 400 pounds of wheel weights, and I always have the back blade on when moving snow. If I had to plow a lot of snow, I would put a 8-foot blade like used on a pickup truck and chains on the rear tires. I built a nice curved blade out of an old water heater and put it on our Farmall A about 50 years ago, it worked well! But we spend the winter in Arizona, so I don't plow much snow!

Wife and I go down there too. SXS trailer had a 3-foot drift around it the day before we left back in January. 10 degrees and no cab aint fun.

I have lived on a farm in northern SD most of my life. So moving snow is part of rural life here in the winter. The amount of snow varies year to year. This tractor will be used up close to buildings and for the light snow I used to shovel by hand when I was younger. I have other larger snow removal equipment for the big stuff; IH 1586 with an 8 foot snow blower, Cat 930H and the Bobcat.

Wheel weights will be added and probably will have something hooked to the 3pt for extra weight as well. If I don't like it, I will sell it an get something better. But the price was right 2017 with only 308 hours on it. At my age, the JD cab and ease of getting in it vs climbing over a snow bucket on the Bobcat to get in were significant considerations when I was bieding on this tractor.

I bet that 930H moves some snow !!
I the 926M we have is comparable to it and it moves snow, lots of it.

Well not knowing where you live as for me i don't think we will get any if much snow . Last year we got one where we got DUMPED on . Ok fine my late model 1250 Cub cadet was ready , plow on tire chains rebuilt . New hyd . lines installed bigger battery , yep we were ready for what ever mother nature was going to dish out. . We got 18 to 20 inches . I go out and remove the tarp and fire up my OLD Cub cadet and go to work . Yep that is a LOT of snow to move . We got the turn around cleaned out after a hour of pushen and stacken , then the Drive First push was Down hill and it went well then clearing the end , between what the city piled up and what fell that took some work . Then everything needed to Go UP HILL . Cubby was working it's DONKEY off and i had about a 1/3 the drive to finish and the sidewalks when under extreme load she pulled the right tire chain in half . we were done . So we went to plan B and that was the OLD Ariens St 7-24 Snow blower that has been setting for TWO year not needed and with temps at 10 degrees it said NOPE ain't ah going to do this . I spent around and hour trying before i said forget it i was a POP SICKLE . The WAR DEPT told me to give up . After a Half hour in the shower i felt some what Human again now with dry warm clothes on . The War Dept who is the reason the Indians gave up and the buffalo almost went extinct said why not just go buy a new snow blower as a back up . So when the WAR DEPT say's i can BUY ya BUY and i went and bought a new 28 inch Cub Cadet snow blower to finish up and while i was buying the snow blower i got a Steal of a deal on a NEW set of Ice grip chains for the Cubby and three times less then Amazon wanted . So come the end of OCT this year the NEW chains will go on the mower deck will come off Cubby and the plow will go on and the new to me heat houser will go on the Cubby and the New snow blower will get Fresh gas and i WILL NOT NEED ANYTHING AS IT WILL NOT SNOW. Trust me on this as it never fails. Of the 20 plus years of doing commercial snow removal Every time i had my plow truck ready for the massive storm with plow on weights in the bed tire chains on full tanks of fuel and wake up at 3 in the morning to go do battle the storm went around us and a 90 year old grand maw with a kitchen broom could clear what came down . BUT let me NOT be ready we got hammered /

Don't get me wrong, I love our JD 4600, but not for snow removal! We use ours mostly for mowing with a 6-foot Bush Hog. We bought it new in 2001, and it now has over 1500 hours on it with no problems. And it's a great little logging tractor!

I also have a JD 4700 with a 460 loader and a JD factory 84" front mount dozer blade that I bought new around the same time. I use it a lot around the farm. Mowing,raking, small square baling, etc. Very handy tractor. The only repairs were the hood that a large tree branch fell on it and I wore out the seat suspension . That will get your heart pumping when you hit a bump and the broken seat drops you 6". I bought the JD 3046R mostly for the cab.

Looks like a good sized cab for a tractor of that smaller size.

Nice find. Now put a five foot blower on the back.

More likely to put a front mount snow blower on it since it has 3 PTOs, (front, mid, rear)

6’1" 250 lbs would not want the cab any smaller. LOL

Is'nt snow a four letter word in August. lol Yeah, we know its coming but I'd rather not think about it today. Anything you can do to eliminate the shovel is a good thing, and a cab is a wonderful bonus. gobble
