Ford 4500 injectors or pump??

I have a newly acquired Ford 4500 that doesn't seem to rev up like it should not sure if it is the pump or injectors?? this has the 3 cylinder engine

Pull the air intake hose off and try it, to make sure the air cleaner media isn't full of dirt and debris. Make sure there is nothing that can get sucked into the intake, first.

Yup, try what Skipper said first. NO engine will run if it can't breath on BOTH intake AND exhaust side.

checked filter and tubes everything was good still hard starting and smokes alot guess I will try injectors first but really leaning towards the pump as the problem.

If pump has some worn internal parts that will cause trouble too. I find that a lot on pumps I tear down for repair lately.

had the pump rebuilt and runs great now!!!
