new Zero turn mower choices

My ROPS gets raised every time I mow by the highway where it is steep in a couple of spots, then I drop it to get under limbs near the house. Solved the canopy problem by rigging a bracket and using a cheap 68" golf umbrella that clamps on. I don't use it a lot, but nice to have when I want it.

Roll overs isn’t a big concern but there’s documented cases of mowers flipping over backwards on embankments crushing the operators
Let me guess: They were headed up an incline, like a pond dam with a high slope> 30* and they didn't have adequate weight on the front end or forgot to lean forward as they go up.

The world is full of people and every body has their own way of doing things.....like the farmer crossing a railroad driving his tractor without looking for or listening for or hearing an approaching train.

I prefer to go up (headed) rather than down since the weight is on the rear tires I get good traction......going (headed) down is just the opposite and depending on circumstances, sometimes I slide part way down even with studded snow tires
