Farmall Super C Drawbar Rings

My Super C has these rings mounted on the front of the drawbar. They look factory, but my Farmall C doesn't have them. Anyone have them on their Super C and if so, do you know their purpose?

You will probably have to ask the previous owner that welded them on. The welds look a little sloppy to be from the factory. They might make good tie-down points.

Tie down point for sure. C's are difficult tie down if there are no implements on it. There is just nothing up front to tie too if its narrow front.
