302 Massey Ferguson axle planetary

Outer housing broke on right rear axle planetary. It is a 302 industrial model. Damaged items: outer cover where stub axle goes through; ring gear 45 tooth 1 3/8" wide; Three pinion carrier gears 12 tooth 1 3/8" tall; Two split half-moon retainers. It has the roller style bearing on the inboard end. Pulled a 65 apart and it had timken bearing. Saw photos of an 85 which appears to be similar. Anyone have knowledge about what will fit or have parts available? Thanks for any information!

You might want to consider starting a new thread on your tractor down on the Massey Harris & Massey Ferguson Forum in the manufacturers Section here. There are some Massey guys there that don't do a lot on this forum.

Below is a link to the 302 / 304 online parts book. I suggest you use it to get the part numbers for the parts you need and then call a salvage yard. PartsASAP (owner and provider of this site operates several yards. A word of advice is that it is best to call salvage yards as they do not generally list much of their inventories online.

Thanks for the tip on parts book. How do I delete or move post?
 
You can use the contact us button and ask a moderator move it.

You can use the edit button on the text box and delete the text and type something like moved to Massey Ferguson forum.

Or just leave it, you may get some info. There is absolutely no harm in just leaving it and making a new thread in the Massey Ferguson form.
