Came across some videos you posted running a 400 and 800 planter on some ground. Both outfits look great, thanks for the trip down memory lane, i enjoyed seeing those machines in such good conditon getting it done. We ran a 400 in the 70's and 80's and then an 800 in the 90's. Nothing will go in the ground as well as those 800's with the staggered discs. We have run a 7200 deere for the last 20 years, it just won't cut into hard ground like the old 800. Couple old pictures of our planters.

Sorry, but I don't believe he frequents this forum anymore.
