Easy to load, easy to haul to shows. Mother has one, we used to take it to shows.
I always wondered why you saw so many of them with front wheel weights, since there wasn't enough power to pull the front off the ground. Then I found a sickle mower for it. It tended to make unexpected right turns for some reason.

The 1949 (S# PGA4167A) has been in my family since new. However, left to reside at my uncles since 1967. Now that everyone has left us,its back on our property.......

I presently have the Engine removed from the 1949 (S# PGA4167A) ........"ALUMINUM PISTONS"... are non serviceable.........
Using pistons ( NOT ALUMINUM )from S # PGA2896..........Pistons/Ring "GROOVES" clearance are with in specifications.......and installing PISTONS into1949 (S# PGA4167A)

The 1949 engine Block (S# PGA4167A) "VALVE SEATS "are serviceable.............
All new valve Guides & Valves have been installed in the 1949 Block (S# PGA4167A)

Engine S # PGA289..the valve sets are NOT serviceable........
One tractor came with a badly treated single Bottom plow......
Another tractor came with a badly treat sickle Mower.......

Overhaul is proceeding slowly.................
Rear Tires and WEIGHTS from S # PGA2804A1 shall be installed on the 1947 (S# PGA4167A),....as they look perfect...
